http://bit.ly/2025-HF-SymposiumThis one-day hybrid symposium addresses contemporary management of patients with advanced heart failure, divided into lectures and panel discussions on guideline-directed medical therapy, exercise testing, pulmonary hypertension in patients with heart failure, cardiogenic shock temporary and durable mechanical support device therapy, and heart transplantation, including multi-organ transplantation. We will also present state-of-the-art lectures on cardiac amyloidosis, sarcoidosis, myocarditis, and adult congenital heart disease. The sessions will be interactive, partially case-based presentations and review guidelines and evidence gaps. The learner should come away with a better understanding of the expertise of an advanced heart failure physician/surgeon and advanced practice provider and the important role of the multi-disciplinary team structure in delivering care: “Shock Team,” “LVAD Team,” and “Heart Transplant Team.” The symposium hopes to forge relationships with cardiologists and APPs in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and beyond to share best practices and co-manage patients who need advanced heart failure therapies.
