The UT Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Student Research Forum is an annual event celebrating research conducted by UT Southwestern Medical Students. 

Sponsored by Benjamin Chong, M.D., M.S.C.S., Associate Dean for Medical Student Research, and the Office of Medical Student Research, the Forum will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 3:00 to 6:00pm.

The oral presentations will feature four of our medical students who will present their recognized research projects, followed by a keynote speaker, Robert Haley, M.D., FACE, FACP, Distinguished Teaching Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographical Medicine. 

Students with accepted abstracts will showcase their poster during the poster session and reception. 

The Oral Presentations and Keynote Speaker will take place from 3:00-5:00pm in the D1.700 Lecture Hall.  The Poster Session and Reception will take place from 5:00-6:00pm outside of the South Campus Cafeteria.
