About Robert Haddox:
Dr. Haddox holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern, where he also completed internal medicine residency training. He received additional residency training at Parkland Health and Dallas VA Medical Center.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Haddox joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023. Prior to UT Southwestern, he served on staff at Texas Health Dallas, a role he held since 2013. Prior to that, he joined Doctors Hospital.
Dr. Haddox's research interests include ipratropium bromide and emergency room management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). His investigations have been published in peer-reviewed journals and he has presented his findings at conferences.
Dr. Haddox is active in several professional societies, including the American College of Physicians, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Association.
