UT Southwestern Science Cafes

Are you a sidecar scientist or a non-science person who finds yourself curious about the how, what, and why of health, disease, research and care?

If your answer is “yes” to one or more of these questions, the UT Southwestern Science Café series is for you!

Join cardiologist and risk optimization expert Dr. Mujeeb Basit on Thursday, June 11 from 7 to 8 p.m., as we discuss the science of modeling and how we use it to plan for healthcare treatments of infectious diseases.  Engage with your fellow zoomers with a beverage of your choice as we explore how researchers are able to forecast more accurately than the weather!

Register Today!

Future Science Café sessions will discuss other fun deep-dives into science, such as the magic of sleep, and turning on your immune system with Immunotherapy.
