Join the Women and Allies Business Resource Group on May 7, 2021 from noon to 1 p.m. for their upcoming event, Art as a Self-support Mechanism, featuring keynote speaker, Nelly Estefanie Garduno.
Nelly works as a Research Study Coordinator in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Nelly is originally from Mexico City where she attended college at Westhill University and the national institute of fine arts. Her illustrations have been seen in advertisements and children’s books and her surrealist-anatomical artwork has been displayed at multiple art venues.
This virtual event will provide UTSW employees with an opportunity to use art as an instrument to develop resilience and promote their creative thinking. Additionally, it will offer insight into what we can do individually to engage with art.
