Join us on Tuesday, May 14th, for the annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration. This year’s keynote speaker  is Saad Omer, M.B.B.S, Ph.D., Dean of the Peter O’Donnell Jr. School of Public Health at UT Southwestern. An internationally recognized epidemiologist and prolific researcher, Dr. Omer has published over 400 peer-reviewed papers and has conducted academic studies nationwide.  

 

Hosted by the Office for Institutional Opportunity, this hybrid event will take place at noon in the T. Boone Pickens Auditorium, NG3.112, on North Campus and will include remarks by Shawna Nesbitt, M.D., M.S., Vice President and Chief Institutional Opportunity Officer, and a cultural lion dance performance honoring the celebratory month. 
 

Because of limited parking at the venue, attendees are encouraged to take the Campus Connector shuttle to the NG Building stop.
