The “Introduction to Linux” two-day beginner-friendly nanocourse introduces essential Linux concepts and hands-on skills, with an emphasis on research computing and HPC environments.

Linux is a robust and versatile operating system widely used in academic and scientific fields due to its stability, adaptability, and extensive suite of integrated tools. This workshop is designed for beginners and will provide the foundational knowledge needed to begin working confidently in Linux. Those involved in research, scientific computing, or computationally intensive workflows will particularly benefit from the HPC focus of this course.
