Join us Thursday, Feb. 25 from noon to 1 p.m. for UT Southwestern's annual Black History Month Celebration highlighting 'African American Resilience and Persistence - Achieving Greatness and Breaking Barriers,' featuring keynote speaker Quinn Capers IV, M.D, holder of the Rody P. Cox, M.D. Professorship in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Capers is a nationally recognized leader on diversity and inclusion in academic medicine, who joined UT Southwestern as associate dean for faculty diversity and the inaugural vice chair for diversity and inclusion in the department of internal medicine at UT Southwestern in December 2020.
This event is being hosted by The Office of Institutional Equity & Access’ Division of Diversity & Inclusion and UT Southwestern’s African American Employee Business Resource Group (AAE-BRG).
