DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disab
 ilities Act (ADA) and honor the contributions\, experiences\, and strength
 s of our community on Wednesday\, July 8.   \n\nThe event will begin at 11
 :30 a.m. with a light lunch reception featuring desserts catered by Bitty 
 and Beau’s Coffee\, an organization dedicated to employing and empowerin
 g individuals with disabilities.  \n\nHeakyung Kim\, M.D.\, Chair and Prof
 essor for the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at UT South
 western\, will deliver the keynote at noon\, followed by a panel discussio
 n on caring for patients with disabilities.   \n\nHosted by the Office for
  Institutional Opportunity\, this event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 
 p.m. on South Campus in D1.502 and livestreamed on UTSW’s YouTube channe
 l for those unable to attend in person.  \n\nCampus shuttle services will 
 be increased at the time of this event\, and the gates at Staff Garage 2 o
 n South Campus will be open.  \n\nRegistration is required.
