On behalf of the Clinical Informatics Center please find below an invitation to the May 2024 Clinical Informatics Research Colloquium. You will also receive a meeting invitation for the colloquium. 

The Clinical Informatics Center at UT Southwestern hosts the Clinical Informatics Research Colloquium to highlight the outstanding work done at UT Southwestern and partnering organizations in the clinical informatics space. This is part of our effort to bring clinical informatics, research informatics, and other data and informatics scientists together at UT Southwestern to foster exchange of ideas, collaboration, and development of grants, papers, and novel projects. 

We are very pleased that our May Colloquium will feature Jonathan Hron, MD, Associate Chief Medical Information Officer, Boston Children’s Hospital; Program Director, Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program; Pediatric Hospitalist, Division of General Pediatrics, Boston Children’s Hospital; Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Harvard Medical School

Dr. Hron will present his talk “The match, money and the way forward”. 

Bio:

Dr. Jonathan Hron attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his residency in the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center. He continued on as a Chief Resident at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he began practicing Clinical Informatics. As a faculty member he has devoted his career to improving systems of care through the use of information technology. In 2015 he co-founded the Boston Children’s Hospital Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program, one of the first ACGME approved pediatric Clinical Informatics training programs in the country. Clinically, Dr. Hron cares for hospitalized patients on the general pediatrics and complex care services at Boston Children's.

The colloquium will be hosted on and recorded by Zoom. Details are listed below. The date and time are Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
