Clinical Insights and the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Patient

Upon completion of this activity, the nurses working in the ambulatory clinics will be able to:

  • Identify the effects of CF on other body organs and organ systems
  • State and give rationales for the nursing interventions related to treatment therapies appropriate for this patient population
  • Explain the indications of CF to lung transplantation and care of patients post-operatively
  • Pinpoint patient and caregiver education for patients with CF along with other CF related health conditions
  • Accurately answer questions related to CF

Target Audience: Outpatient RN’s including Ambulatory and Solid Organ Transplant

This activity provides 1 contact hour(s) of continuing nursing education

Completion of this activity requires signing in on the attendance roster, attendance of the entire activity and completion/submission of the activity evaluation.
