About Leah Cohen:

Originally from Houston, Dr. Cohen holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine, and completed residency training in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She then received advanced training in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine through a fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta.

 

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine, Dr. Cohen joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017.

 

She specializes in adult cystic fibrosis, non-CF bronchiectasis, critical care, and other general pulmonary diseases, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma. She serves as the Medical Director of the Rapid Response Team at Clements University Hospital.
