The Clinical and Transitional Science Award (CTSA) Preclinical Drug Development Core invites you to submit abstracts for this year’s One Health Collaborative Symposium and Poster Session to be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM at UT Southwestern Medical Center South Campus D1.502 Lecture Hall.

Symposium Title: 
"One Health: Translational Research at the Human-Animal-Environment Interface"

Submission Guidelines
Faculty, postdocs, fellows, and students are encouraged to submit an abstract in basic science, clinical/translational, or public health research. Posters presented at previous events are accepted.
Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words; only one abstract may be submitted per presenting author. 
Evaluation of abstracts will be based on the following: 

• Rationale and significance 

• Hypothesis and objectives 

• Experimental approach, interpretation of findings, and conclusions

Poster Guidelines
Poster displays will be limited to one side of an 8-foot-by-4-foot tack board.
Posters should be displayed before the Symposium starts and remain on display until the end the event.

Winners will be announced at the end of the event. Top 3 will receive cash prizes:

• 1st Place - $300 

• 2nd Place - $200 

• 3rd Place - $100

October 14th, 2025 - Notification of abstract acceptance
