Join the LGBT & Allies BRG on Tuesday March 21^st from 12 to 1 PM for the second event of UTSW’s National LGBTQ Health Awareness Week Lecture Series, “Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S.” featuring keynote speaker, Luz E. Rivera, Psy.D., M.S. RSHS, M.A.Ed., M.S.

Dr. Luz E. Rivera is the PACE director in the Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Dr. Rivera is a scientist and clinical psychologist with specialized training in working with victims of psychological trauma. She has served in a number of national and international positions developing programs responding to community urgent needs and serving vulnerable populations. She has served in multiple national and international deployments as a mental health provider.
