 .\, is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics training program a
 t the University of Pittsburgh. He has 20 years of research experience at 
 the intersection of health informatics\, clinical research\, clinical rese
 arch informatics\, and medication safety. He is currently investigating th
 e 1) intersection and synergy of knowledge-bases and generative models app
 lied to patient safety\, 2) intelligent clinical decision support interven
 tions that advance health information technology standards\, and 3) advanc
 ed pharmacovigilance signal generation\, validation and investigation.
