Talk title: Decoding Temporal & Spatial Principles of Biological Circuits

Speaker Bio: Dr. Li attended Peking University to study biological science and became interested in using theoretical & computational tools to solve biological problems. He joined Qiong Yang’s lab at the University of Michigan to study design principles of biological oscillators and used Xenopus extract droplets to test theoretical predictions. He earned his Ph.D. in 2019 and accepted a postdoctoral position with the Ferrell lab to study trigger wave propagation in two dimensional space. His current project investigates the spatial constrictions in neuronal pruning.
