The FY23 performance evaluation process kicks off on May 1! The annual evaluation is an opportunity for employees and their managers to review accomplishments, set clear goals for the future, celebrate accomplishments, and think about how we can develop professionally. All eligible employees are required to have an annual evaluation per the UT System Board of Regents.

Performance evaluation templates will be available in iPerform the week of May 1. We encourage you to take a training, as iPerform has been upgraded with new features.

• Eligible employees hired on or before March 1, 2023, must undergo a performance review for their work from May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023.
• Self-evaluations are due May 31.
• Manager evaluations are due May 31.
  • Evaluation ratings feed directly into the merit tool to facilitate merit planning.
  • The iPerform tool will remain open to accommodate edits and additional comments throughout the performance discussion cycle, which ends Aug. 31.
  • Completed and acknowledged evaluations are due Aug. 31.

What employees need to do

• Attend a self-evaluation training webinar for FY23 template changes.
• Review your job responsibilities and goals for the performance year (May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023)
• Compile a list of your accomplishments to show the impact of all you have achieved.
• Gather your thoughts and take notes regarding your accomplishments, wins, areas of opportunity, and future development.
• Access available tip sheets
