About Tara DuVal:

A native of New York, Dr. DuVal received her undergraduate degree in neurobiology and behavior at Cornell University. She earned her medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, and completed internal medicine residency training at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she then served as a hospitalist for two years. She obtained advanced training through a clinical fellowship in geriatric medicine at UT Southwestern.

Dr. DuVal joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2012.
