About Khalil Ghanem:

Dr. Ghanem earned his medical degree and completed internal medicine residency training at Baylor College of Medicine. He received infectious diseases fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University, where he also earned his doctorate in clinical investigation.

Dr. Ghanem is Board Certified in internal medicine and infectious disease, and Deputy Director of Education, Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Dr. Ghanem's research interests include sexually transmitted infections and the vaginal microbiome. He is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), and American Sexually Transmitted Diseases Association.
