About Ashwin Rao:

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Rao holds a bachelor's degree in neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin. He recevied his medical degree from UT Southwestern, where he also completed internal medicine residency training.

Dr. Rao focuses on how emerging technologies such as multi-modal clinical data, computer vision, and large language models can be applied to build actionable clinical decision support systems in gastroentrology.
