About Mary Gwin:
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Gwin holds an undergraduate degree in history from Vanderbilt University, where she graduated cum laude. She earned her medical degree from the University of Washington.
Dr. Gwin is currently supported by the NIH-funded UT Southwestern Stimulating Access to Research in Residency (UT-StARR) grant, where she conducts full-time clinical and translational research in lung cancer under the mentorship of Dr. David Gerber. She intends to pursue a career as an academic physician-scientist, with a focus on using precision medicine to optimize lung cancer diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes.
