About John "Matt" Hancock:

Originally from Dallas, Dr. Hancock holds a bachelor's degree in molecular biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his medical degree and completed internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He completed advanced training through a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Michigan.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in hematology, Dr. Hancock joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.
