Join the Office for Institutional Opportunity in partnership with the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center for its inaugural Health Disparities Research Lecture Series. This series aims to help educate learners and faculty on innovative approaches to improve public health and promote health equity research through academic pursuit.
This session's speaker is Lorna McNeill, Ph.D., M.P.H., Associate Director for the Cancer Health Disparities and Community Outreach and Director for the Center for Community-Engaged Translational Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center, who will give an informative talk on, "Equitable Solutions for Improving Cancer Health Equity –A Role for Community Engagement."
Lunch will be served on a first come, first served basis at the event.
