Join the Office for Institutional Opportunity in partnership with the O’Donnell School of Public Health for its Health Disparities Research Lecture Series. This series aims to help educate learners and faculty on innovative approaches to improve public health and promote health equity research through academic pursuit.
This session's speaker is Kia Parsi, M.D., Executive Director, Texas A&M Rural and Community Health Institute. He will give an informative talk on, "Reducing Disparities in Rural Communities: Finding the Right Financial Model for Sustainability."
This hybrid event will be held in person on South Campus from noon to 1 p.m. and livestreamed on UTSW’s YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person.
Lunch will be available on a first come, first served basis at the event.
