Speaker:
Adil Mohyudin, MD.
Hematology & Oncology Fellow
University of Mississippi Medical Center
About Adil Mohyudin:
Dr. Mohyudin received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences in Lahore, Punjab, and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
During his fellowship, Dr. Mohyudin developed significant expertise in head and neck cancers, thoracic malignancies, gastrointestinal tumors, sarcomas, neuroendocrine tumors, breast cancer, and genitourinary cancers, with a particular focus on thoracic oncology, including small cell and non–small cell lung cancers. Practicing in a state with some of the nation’s highest rates of lung, colon, and breast cancer afforded him substantial experience in diagnosing and managing these diseases across all stages.
His training incorporated advanced and emerging therapies such as systemic and locoregional treatments, radioligand therapy, immunotherapy, cellular therapies, and bispecific T‑cell engager (BiTE) therapies. He also contributed to quality improvement initiatives and helped enroll patients in clinical trials aimed at expanding access to novel treatments. Regular participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and regional thoracic oncology conferences strengthened his collaborative, evidence‑based approach to care.
