About Christen Dillard:

Dr. Dillard holds a bachelor's degree in biology and immunobiology from Brown University. She earned her medical degree from the University of California San Francisco, and completed internal medicine residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. 

Her clinical and research work centers on novel myeloma therapeutics, including CAR-T cell therapy and bispecific antibodies, with a focus on improving outcomes and understanding treatment-related toxicity in historically underrepresented populations.

Dr. Dillard’s work bridges cutting-edge cancer care and health equity research, with a commitment to expanding access to complex therapies without compromising safety or quality. Clinically, she manages the full spectrum of plasma cell disorders and lymphoid malignancies across inpatient and outpatient settings, emphasizing clear communication, evidence-based risk stratification, and collaborative decision-making. She has presented her research at national meetings, including ASH, and continues to investigate the roles of genetic ancestry, social determinants, and treatment equity in myeloma populations.
