About Sanjeeva Kalva:
Originally from India, Dr. Kalva received his medical degree and radiology and interventional radiology training in India. He then received advanced training through a Research and Clinical Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He continued as faculty and, subsequently, as the Division Chief of Vascular Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Kalva focuses his research on interventional oncology, portal hypertension, pulmonary arteriovenous malformations, and therapeutic embolization. His work has resulted in more than 200 peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals and several presentations at professional conferences worldwide. His research contributions have led to advancements in vascular imaging and treatment of liver cancer and pulmonary vascular malformations.
