About Ritu Lapsiwala:
Originally from India, Dr. Lapsiwala completed her medical training at the University of Mumbai. She received internal medicine residency training at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and completed advanced training through a hematology and oncology fellowship program at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

In addition to her work in hematology and oncology, Dr. Lapsiwala focuses on evidence-based integrative medical approaches that play a role in disease prevention and survivorship care. Her interest in comprehensive, holistic approaches led her to complete a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona. Additionally, she received acupuncture training for physicians at the Academy of Pain Research in San Francisco.
