Please join us for Fiesta on the Plaza, celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month on Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at McDermott Plaza on South Campus.  

Enjoy a vibrant afternoon of light bites, cultural performances, and art displays. Sample delicious treats from Hispanic countries around the world including street tacos, pupusas, empanadas, horchata, and more. The celebration will also feature musical performances by mariachi band, Mariachi Arraigo de America and professional salsa dancer, Amanda Cristina.  

Light bites will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Campus shuttle services will be increased at the time of this event. The gates at Staff Garage 2 and the visitor's lot on South Campus will be open for this event. 

No registration is needed – just come ready to celebrate and enjoy!
