 ouston. He completed internal medicine residency training at Massachusetts
  General Hospital and infectious diseases fellowship training at Massachus
 etts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He com
 pleted his post-doctoral fellowship training at the Harvard University Wys
 s Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering and the Harvard School o
 f Engineering and Applied Sciences.\n\nHe joined the UT Southwestern Facul
 ty in 2024.\n\nDr. Tatara’s research interests include the design of new
  biomaterials\, tissue engineering strategies\, mechanisms of pathogen vir
 ulence\, and immunoengineering to prevent and treat infection.
