About Netanya Utay:

Dr. Utay earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington and gained advanced training in infectious diseases through a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Utay serves on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Panel on Antiretroviral Guidelines for Adults and Adolescents. She was previously Chair of the Advancing Clinical Trials Globally (ACTG) Comorbidities Transformative Science Group (CTSG). Her research interests include comorbidities in people with HIV and the role of chronic inflammation in promoting disease.
