About Jennifer Gill:

Dr. Gill earned her medical degree and her doctoral degree in immunology through the Medical Scientist Training Program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She then completed dermatology residency training at UT Southwestern. Her clinical and research focus centers on melanoma and advanced cutaneous malignancies. Her laboratory examines how cancer metabolism influences melanoma metastasis and disease behavior, with the goal of identifying new biomarkers and therapeutic strategies.

About Josephine Thinwa:

Dr. Thinwa earned her medical degree and her doctoral degree in microbiology and immunology from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Following residency training in internal medicine at UT Southwestern, she completed fellowship training in infectious diseases through the Physician Scientist Training Program. Her laboratory investigates how viruses activate autophagy in the central nervous system and how these mechanisms can be leveraged for vaccine and antiviral development.
