Join the LGBT & Allies BRG on Wednesday, March 22^nd from 12 to 1 PM for the third event of UTSW’s National LGBTQ Health Awareness Week Lecture Series, “LGBT Inclusiveness in Research” panel discussion featuring Dr. Megan Mullins, PhD, MPH – Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern, Dr. Jessica Abramowitz, MD – Associate Professor at UT Southwestern and Dr. Alison Footman, PhD, MPH  – Postdoctoral Fellow at St. Jude.

Dr. Megan Mullins is an Assistant Professor at Peter O’Donnell Jr. School of Public Health and Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. She uses mixed-methods and implementation science to understand and address inequities in cancer care delivery. Dr. Mullins will share insights on SOGI data collection. Dr. Alison Footman will cover sampling, recruiting, and creating community advisory boards with LGBT folks, and Dr. Jessica Abramowitz will talk about her clinical research on bone health in transgender individuals.
