About this Event
This session will introduce the audience to lifestyle medicine, a growing specialty that uses evidence-based lifestyle therapeutic approaches, such as improved diet, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management, social connection and avoiding risky substances to treat, reverse and prevent chronic disease. This introduction will start the conversation of how lifestyle medicine is beneficial both on a personal level and in healthcare more broadly. Participants will leave with some tips to further their own physical wellness.
