Join the Office of Institutional Equity and Access' Division of Diversity and Inclusion and Nutrition Services for an event celebrating indigenous cuisine. Traditionally, midwinter ceremonies are celebrated across many Native communities five days after the new year moon. This event will feature a curated menu of Native American and Indigenous recipes that have been shared by UT Southwestern employees. We are excited to highlight important ingredients from native communities across the US such as corn, squash, berries, and fish. The event will also feature cultural artifacts, music, and artwork.

The event will be held in the CUH Pavilion and meal tickets will be available on-site for $8.

The menu will feature:

Corn Soup, Blue Corn Muffins, Wild Rice and Fish (North American Trout), Squash Medley, Navajo Tacos with Beef, and Cheesecake with Berries for dessert.

This event is open to the entire campus community.
