This Department of Psychiatry sponsored event raises awareness about mental illness in North Texas and the work being done at UT Southwestern. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, an organization advocating for access to services, treatment, supports, and research to help those in need. NAMI North Texas is the local affiliate providing services to Dallas, Rockwall, Denton, and Collin Counties. The event's opening ceremony will start at 8am, and teams will start walking at 8:30am.
