Neurocritical Care Lecture Series-Perspectives on Brain Arteriovenous Malformations

Upon completion of this activity, registered nurse attendees will:

Demonstrate an understanding of the genesis and natural history of brain vascular malformations

State the rationale behind the timing of when to treat these lesions

Identify the role played by radiosurgery, endovascular surgery, and microsurgery in the management of complicated brain vascular malformations

Verbalize the importance of improving nursing practice to enhanced patient outcomes.
