Lecture Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
1.    Recognize how social media and online health information can influence OBGYN patients’ perceptions, expectations, decision-making, and trust in their clinicians. 
2.    Identify common patterns of reproductive-health misinformation and distinguish between misinformation, personal experience, legitimate uncertainty, and evidence-based information.
3.    Apply a relationship-centered communication framework to respond to patients who bring social-media or AI-generated health information into clinical encounters while preserving trust and patient autonomy.
4.    Use practical strategies to rapidly establish rapport, address misinformation, communicate evidence and uncertainty, and engage patients in shared decision-making.
