About this Event
Deep Dives Virtual Zoom Series: The O'Donnell Brain Institute's (OBI) Total Care Program for Parkinson's Disease will offer quarterly "deep dives" into some of the best resources available online and through national and local DFW organizations to educate, inform, and create community for our Parkinson's patients and families.
Palliative care is an approach that helps people with Parkinson's Disease and their families plan for the future and receive an extra level of support. Palliative care may be helpful at any stage of illness after diagnosis. It is a whole-person approach that addresses physical, spiritual, emotional, and functional sources of distress.
In this virtual Zoom event, Dr. Jenny Riecke, MD, and team will introduce the expertise of a Palliative Care Neurologist in helping families to live well with Parkinson's Disease.
Please join us on November 8th at 10:30 am for a deep dive into the field of palliative care as supportive care for Parkinson's patients. Register for free here: https://forms.office.com/r/RWz496DKvZ
