Preventive Care Incentive Program requirement
Earlier this year, UT System announced that our UT SELECT medical plan would include an annual preventive exam requirement to help support early detection and treatment of health conditions. This program also encourages patients to build and maintain a relationship with their primary care provider.

• Employees and spouses enrolled in UT SELECT must complete a qualifying preventive exam by Feb. 28, 2027, to avoid a $50 monthly premium beginning in May 2027.

Qualifying Preventive Exams
Annual preventive exams are included in your UT SELECT plan and do not require a co-pay. To meet the PCIP requirement, your visit must be billed as one of these qualifying preventive exams:

• Annual Preventive Physical Exam
• Routine Wellness Exam
• Preventive Well-Woman Exam
