About Michael Dohopolski:

Dr. Dohopolski earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed a residency in radiation oncology at UT Southwestern, where he served as Chief Resident and worked on advanced computer techniques to create an artificial intelligence model to identify cancer, which has been implemented successfully in two clinical trials.

He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

He specializes in treating central nervous system malignancies with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) for brain tumors and cancers of the spinal cord. He also has expertise in the use of brachytherapy for ocular cancer, gliomas and meningiomas.
