Office of Faculty Wellness June Book Club Invitation
Join us for our June Book Club meeting featuring The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom. This insightful and concise book explores how the “agreements” we make – with ourselves and others – shape our lives. These agreements, formed through upbringing, experiences, and societal interactions, influence who we are and how we respond to the world.
Some agreements empower us, fostering positivity and growth. Others can be limiting, rooted in shame, fear, or guilt. The Four Agreements encourages readers to recognize and release these negative beliefs that hold us back. By doing so, we gain personal freedom, reduce self-doubt, and open the door to happiness.
This transformation not only impacts our self-view but also improves relationships with colleagues, family, and friends. Our discussion will focus on themes of healing, growth, and the courage required to change long-held patterns.
