Overview:
Evelyn will explore the different types of capital available for emerging businesses, while at the same time discuss what lenders, development institutions and investors look for when providing access to capital. In addition, she will highlight the additional resources available to start-ups specially in the Technology and AI world.
Bio:
Evelyn Solorzano is the Vice President, Business Community Officer for Bank of America supporting the North Texas market. With more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry, she has held various roles across lines of business within the company providing her a wealth of knowledge and expertise. In her current role, she focuses on empowering diverse and multicultural business owners with a high emphasis on businesses operating in underserved communities and in evolving industries. She provides financial literacy to business owners in all stages of their business life cycle. Evelyn is also highly engaged with local organizations that support the business ecosystem providing access to capital and connecting business owners to all the resources and tools that are available.
