Women's Health Research Initiative Spring Forum

Sponsored by the Cecil H. and Ida Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences and the Office of the Dean of Basic Research

The Women’s Health Research Initiative is a new interdisciplinary effort designed to connect basic, translational, and clinical researchers around common themes in women’s health across the lifespan. This inaugural forum is an opportunity to showcase the ongoing work in Women’s Health Research here at UTSW and provide a chance for members of the UTSW community to interact and get to know others working within this field.

We encourage scientists and clinicians, including faculty, postdocs, fellows, staff, residents and students, at UT Southwestern to submit an abstract on any topic in women's health research. Only one abstract may be submitted per presenting author and the presenting author must be able to attend the forum to present their research. Abstracts may be selected for talks or poster presentations.

Abstracts should be no longer than 400 words and submitted online as a Word document or PDF. Title and authors' names are not included in the word count.

Abstracts that have been submitted to other events, such as the WISMAC poster session, may also be submitted to this event.

The organizing committee will inform you whether your abstract has been selected for a talk or a poster presentation by March 14.

If you are interested in presenting a 10-minute talk or a poster, please fill out the abstract submission form on or before February 14, 2025.

If you are interested in attending the forum (whether you plan to present an abstract or not), please fill out the registration form.

If you have any questions, please contact Katherine Guhin
