The Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot has become a Thanksgiving Day tradition for thousands of individuals and families in North Texas. It’s also a great opportunity to support health and wellness in our community. 

The event, on Thursday, Nov. 23, includes 5K and 8-mile runs/walks, as well as a fun run. 

UT Southwestern is proud to be a sponsor of the Turkey Trot for the third year in row. Employees and learners can register to participate and receive a $7 discount that applies to all walks/races and the fun run. This can be used for family members. The code for the discount is UTSOUTH, all capital letters. It is case sensitive.

Also welcome: toddlers, strollers, and dogs on a leash. Medals will be awarded to the first 750 crossing the 5K finish line.
