It was a great event, very informational and to the point concerning our Black History.
Amazing speaker!! wow. I never heard of the speaker and I believe It was a great experience to have from UT. Thank you to the team who put this together.
Very inspiring!
I loved the event. We hear about the inequalities in our country all the time in various other areas. However, bringing to light historical facts and truths regarding health care and the past atrocities experienced heightens the awareness of struggles that has been lost, which reaffirms just how far we still need to travel. Also, 42% of black dentist are still produced by one institution says a lot about our institutions of higher learning today.
I think one of the other things the lectures provide is motivation. There are young capable minorities that events like this can be a catalyst for. I really appreciate the university's commitment to hosting these events.
Loved it!
I thoroughly enjoyed this event and I really look forward to future employee engagements.
I thoroughly enjoyed the event. I found the speaker to be very empowering.
I went with a friend and it was great.
As a former student of Tennessee State University, I was privilege to be able to visit Meharry and Fisk since our Universities were very close to one another. To learn a little more about Dr.James Hildreth and his story on what lead him to become a Doctor was awesome. To hear the story again about Meharry Medical College through his eyes and the courageous people that were willing to stand during a time in the darkest history of America. This was an awesome lecture.
I enjoy listening to the speaker.
