WISMAC sponsors events of interest to women in science and medicine at UT Southwestern. Notable speakers from other prestigious universities and from UTSW address topics ranging from current scientific issues to career development and work/family balance. The Women in Science and Medicine Advisory Committee (WISMAC) advocates for the advancement of women scientists and physicians, as well as helping facilitate the careers and lives of all women on campus.
